The global social media app service was affected around 8:30 pm Pakistan time, and Twitter was the only major social media site to be restored, so users are expressing their frustration on Twitter. WhatsApp, on the other hand, issued a statement on Twitter saying: "We know that 'some' people are having trouble using WhatsApp. We are working to get things back to normal and we will be notified soon."
